The Industries and Vocational Training (I&VT) Section of the Correctional Services Department (CSD) is dedicated to providing quality products & services to customers so as to secure suitable work for persons in custody. We strive for continual improvement to enhance product quality, customer services and business operation in coping with the fast-moving market environment and increasing customers’ demand. The Correctional Services Department (CSD) of Hong Kong runs a comprehensive range of rehabilitation programmes targeting different types of persons in custody (PIC). CSD keeps PIC purposely and gainfully occupied for maintaining prison stability. In the pursuit of rehabilitation for offenders, the Industries and Vocational Training Section helps the PIC reintegrate into the society through acquisition of skills in industrial work and by providing vocational training to enhance their employability.
